The top tier. Full discovery, custom design system, hand-built ACF theme. Bespoke development, custom post types, complex integrations: the things off-the-shelf plugins can’t do. From €15,000. 8–16 weeks. Milestone-based delivery.
Custom builds use the same structural foundations as every site we ship: performance, SEO, accessibility, conversion structure. The difference is depth. Full discovery to understand your business properly. Custom design system from scratch. Hand-built theme, custom post types, custom fields, bespoke development. Built to be the foundation of your business for years, not refreshed every two.
This standard applies to every build. What changes is how it’s implemented.
Custom is priced and scheduled in the proposal stage after a paid Discovery phase. Payment is milestone-based across discovery, design, build, and launch. Discovery starts at €1,500 and is fully credited against the build if you proceed.
For businesses who need a code-built WordPress foundation: bespoke functionality, custom data architecture, deep integrations. Engineered properly to scale with the business. Milestone-based payment, scoped in proposal.
Custom is the work I love most. Real discovery, custom architecture, code-built rather than assembled. It’s also the most expensive thing we do, and rightly so. It takes longer, it carries more risk, and it produces something genuinely bespoke. If your project doesn’t actually need bespoke development, we’ll route you to Growth (no/low-code, from €7,995) instead. We don’t upsell people into Custom who don’t need it.

We take on a limited number each quarter to protect quality and timelines.
Every build meets the same standard. What differs is scope, complexity, and the level of engineering required to support the business properly.
All prices exclude VAT. Content production is included as standard. We write your website copy from a kickoff interview.
Build approach. Growth is no/low-code, built on Bricks or Elementor Pro using proven plugins for any functionality. Custom is code-built on an ACF foundation with bespoke theme development. If your project can be assembled from existing plugins, Growth is faster and cheaper. If you need genuinely custom-coded functionality, custom data architecture, deep integrations, or anything off-the-shelf can’t do, you want Custom.
Because real discovery takes real work. Stakeholder workshops, technical architecture, scope definition, third-party API research, success metric mapping. Discovery starts at €1,500 and produces a written brief and proposal you own, even if you don’t proceed. If you do proceed, the full Discovery fee is credited against the build.
Custom-coded workflows. Bespoke user dashboards. Complex permissions and roles. Custom REST APIs and integrations beyond what plugins handle. Multi-tenant architectures. Custom CMS structures with deeply related content types. Anything where the requirement starts with “is there a way to make WordPress do…”
No. Custom is hand-built on a custom theme using ACF for content modelling. No Bricks, no Elementor, no page builder lock-in. The site is built to be maintainable by any competent WordPress developer for the next decade.
Sometimes. We’ll review the existing codebase as part of Discovery and tell you honestly whether it’s worth building on, refactoring, or starting fresh. Many “rescue” projects end up costing more than starting clean. We’ll tell you straight.
Custom sites go onto a HostLogic Care plan, included for 12 months. We offer ongoing development retainers for clients who need active iteration post-launch: bug fixes, new features, performance work. Retainers are quoted based on expected volume.
Custom is the right product when the requirement genuinely needs bespoke development. It’s the wrong product when an off-the-shelf solution would do the same job for a fraction of the cost. Discovery exists to tell the difference honestly before you commit to a build budget.
Bespoke functionality and workflows. Custom user dashboards and member portals. Multi-tenant architectures. Complex permission systems. Custom REST APIs and deep third-party integrations. Bespoke CMS structures with rich relational content. Custom-coded admin experiences for editorial teams.
Every Custom build starts with paid Discovery (from €1,500). Stakeholder workshops, technical architecture, scope definition, success metrics. You get a written brief and proposal you own. The Discovery fee is credited against the build if you proceed, or kept if you don’t. Either way, you walk away with a usable artefact.
Custom runs as a milestone-based project. Typical milestones: Discovery sign-off, design sign-off, build sign-off, launch. Each milestone has its own deliverables, review window, and invoice. Scope changes are handled with written change orders: transparent pricing, agreed before work starts. Typical end-to-end delivery is 8–16 weeks plus Discovery.
Custom is the wrong product if your project doesn’t actually need bespoke development. Marketing sites, WooCommerce stores, booking systems, membership sites, and most lead-gen builds can be assembled with proven plugins on a no/low-code stack. That’s what Growth (from €7,995) is for. If you’re paying €15,000+ for a site that an existing plugin already does well, you’re paying for the wrong tier. We’ll tell you straight in Discovery.
This is the trade-off Custom buys you. Page-builder sites are convenient, but they lock you into the builder’s ecosystem. Bricks goes away, your site needs rebuilding. Elementor changes pricing, your costs go up. Plugin sunsets, you’re stuck.
A code-built ACF site has none of those dependencies. The codebase is yours. The data architecture is yours. Any competent WordPress developer can pick it up and continue the work. The site is a foundation for the next decade, not a temporary rental.
That’s why Custom costs more, takes longer, and starts with paid Discovery. You’re not buying a faster website. You’re buying ownership and longevity. If those don’t matter to your business, Growth is genuinely the better product. If they do, this is the only way to get there properly.
Every Custom build includes the same engineering and design standards we apply to every project, plus the depth that only code-built work allows:
Tailored to your brand, your customers, and the actions you need visitors to take.
Meta titles, schema, sitemap, internal linking, image optimisation. Done at launch, not retrofitted.
Every site ships on a HostLogic Care plan: managed hosting and maintenance, 12 months included.
We tell you what to write, where to put it, and how to structure it for visitors and search engines.
Every build includes 30 days of post-launch support. After that, ongoing management is available through our Grow service. It’s your choice, not a lock-in.
Every Custom build moves through a paid Discovery phase first, then four build phases: design, build, integration, launch. Each phase has its own milestone, review, and invoice. Total end-to-end is typically 8–16 weeks plus 1–3 weeks of Discovery beforehand.
1–3 weeks. Stakeholder workshops, business model review, technical architecture, integration mapping, scope definition, success metrics. Output: written brief, technical proposal, fixed-price quote. Discovery fee credited against build if you proceed.
Custom design system from scratch: typography, components, layouts, interaction patterns. Key pages designed in full. Mobile and desktop. Two rounds of revision. Design sign-off triggers a milestone payment.
Hand-built ACF theme. Custom post types, custom fields, bespoke functionality. Editorial admin experience designed for your team. Front-end built to design system spec. Build sign-off triggers a milestone payment.
Third-party integrations wired in and tested. Content migration if applicable. Pre-launch QA, performance, accessibility, security review. DNS migration to HostLogic. Site goes live. Final milestone invoice.
Every Custom project starts with a discovery call to confirm fit and scope direction. If Custom is the right tier, we move to paid Discovery. If a lighter product (Growth or Sprint) would do the job better, we’ll route you there. We don’t upsell people into Custom who don’t need it.
We build exclusively on WordPress because it gives our clients something most agencies quietly avoid: full ownership.
WordPress powers over 40% of the web. It’s open-source, endlessly flexible, and doesn’t lock you into a proprietary ecosystem. When we hand over a site, you own the code, the content, the hosting, and the decision about what happens next. No exit fees. No platform dependency. No rebuilding from scratch if you change agencies.
It also happens to be the strongest foundation for search visibility. Clean URL structures, fast server-side rendering, full control over metadata, schema, and crawl behaviour. WordPress gives us (and you) complete control over how the site performs in Google. Try getting that from Wix.
