The Situation

BGFS and BRFS are part of the Ronnell Group, a full building envelope contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering prestigious projects across Ireland. Their portfolio includes Bon Secours Hospital, Kerrygold, West Pharma, Sports Ireland, and The Mayson. Their client list reads like a who’s who of Irish construction: Sisk, John Paul Construction, Jacobs, Exyte, PM Group.

The problem wasn’t their reputation. The problem was that their website didn’t reflect it.

A main contractor evaluating a tender shortlist would land on the site and find a generic template, no clear service architecture, no project-level proof, no sense of the scale or calibre of work BGFS had delivered. The site couldn’t keep up with the company it was supposed to represent.

Their service offering is genuinely complex, glazing, roofing and cladding, and full envelope each serve different buyers at different project stages. The old structure blurred those lines. A prospect looking for a glazing subcontractor on a commercial fit-out and a main contractor evaluating a full envelope partner for a pharmaceutical facility were landing in the same place, finding the same generic copy.

BGFS didn’t need a redesign. They needed a site that could do what their team does, show up credibly, communicate clearly, and give the right buyer a reason to make contact.

What We Did

Built a portfolio that does the selling

BGFS’s projects are their most powerful sales tool. Bon Secours Hospital. West Pharma. Sports Ireland Pavilion. These names carry weight in the Irish construction sector — but only if a prospective client can actually find them, browse them by sector, and understand the scope of work involved.
We rebuilt the Projects section from the ground up with filtering by service type, giving main contractors and private clients a clear path to the proof most relevant to their own project. Every project page was structured to communicate scope, sector, and outcome, not just showcase photography.

Clarified a complex service offer

Glazing, Roofing & Façades, and Full Envelope are distinct service lines with different buyers, different decision timelines, and different technical requirements. Collapsing them into a single undifferentiated “what we do” section was costing BGFS qualified enquiries. We restructured the site architecture to give each service line its own clear entry point — specification and design advice, project management, installation, and ongoing maintenance, so the right prospect finds the right information without friction.

Built for performance, not just appearance

Every page was optimised for speed, accessibility, and search visibility. No bloated plugins, no shortcuts. The site is hosted and maintained on HostLogic, meaning BGFS has ongoing performance monitoring, security updates, and a team on call, without needing to manage it themselves.
